Plan
The Exia Process gives you tools to help you plan the entire software project and to easily accommodate the many small changes that occur while the project is underway.
The key to successful software project planning is to be able to quickly lay out the iteration lengths, adjust them, and read the project end date directly from the iterations. Once this is done, the entire team should be able to easily visualize the entire project and see the iteration schedule.
With the iterations laid out, allocating work should be as simple as dragging and dropping onto the iterations, and viewing the work should be as simple as clicking an iteration.

Features
- Create new iterations with a single click.
- Rename iterations just by typing over the title.
- Set the default iteration length.
- Change iteration lengths by dragging the iteration end, or by entering the length in days.
- All successive iteration start and end dates are automatically updated when any iteration changes.
- Adjust iteration start dates by adding/removing lag, so that iterations start on the day you want, for instance on a Monday. Adding a day of lag is just one click on the right lag arrow.
- Expand or contract the iteration scale horizontally to see more or less detail.
- Allocate work to an iteration by dragging and dropping. Instantly view the total work allocated.
- Change the person-days for any story and the total work allocated for the iteration is updated.
- Day marker advances automatically showing whether you are ahead or behind schedule at a glance.
- Set the project team size on an iteration by iteration basis. Set the default size at the project level.
- Customize the list of planning and finalization tasks at the project level. Check them off to ensure good planning and follow up for each iteration.
- Work completed is updated as you drag tasks across the task board, or as you update their status.
