Benefits for Testers

As a Tester, I want to be able to start with a solid foundation. And that means quality User Stories, with good Test Cases attached to them. Next, I want to know that the Bugs and Tasks are being accurately tracked so the project is controlled and not chaotic. I need to know that there's an iteration plan and I need to know what's coming through for testing according to the plan.

Then when I start to test, I need to be using the same tool as the developer team for recording test results and updating work items. That way everything is kept in sync without the hassle of export and import.

The Exia Process lets me do all that, and more. It makes it easy to lay out the project schedule and iterations. It makes it easy for the team to create good quality stories and test cases. It shows the team how the testing should flow, with the Guidance, so that there are no surprises. Then I can use the Exia Process to update all my work, as I test.

The result for me is simple: higher quality software with less pain and headache. I feel in control and that's what I want.
